MOF celebrates birthday anniversary of Prophet 

 
 


IN CONJUCTION with the birthday anniversary of Prophet Muhammad  S.A.W,  the Ministry of Finance through the Royal Customs and Excise Department organised a religious sermon that was held at the Theatre Hall, Ministry of Finance.

The guest of honour was Permenant Secretary (Policy) at the Ministry of Finance, Haji Mohd Roselan bin Haji Mohd Daud.

The ceremony began with a mass recital of surah al-fatihah followed by a sermon by Ustaz Haji Anwari bin Haji Rawee from the Islamic Dakwah Centre.

Ustaz Haji Anwari spoke about the life and journey of the holy prophet in bringing the concept of Islam to the world.  He said the prophet was the bringer of good news of an eternal life and permanent joy for the righteousness.

He said that as Muslims, we should instill a love for Prophet Muhammad in ourselves and to exemplify His noble character as the beacon of light that shows the path of righteousness.

The event concluded with a dikir marhaban performance led by a group of officers and staffs of the Royal Customs and Excise Department.

The event is held annually to commemorate the Prophet’s birthday as well as to foster closer ties among the officers, staffs and officials of the Ministry of Finance.
