Eighty-five Business and Finance National Diploma students along with three teachers from the Business School, under the Technical Education Department conducted a field trip to Ministry of Finance yesterday.
The visit was aimed at giving students the opportunity to learn, and to provide them with practical exposure, particularly in recognising the role and functions of the Ministry of Finance and its divisions, as well as the Employees Trust Fund (TAP).
Officials from the Ministry of Finance gave briefings to the students in presentations that covered the establishment's background, vision and mission, issues regarding Financial Institutions, the role of the Research and International Section, Revenue Section, Employees Trust Fund, the Brunei Currency and Monetary Board and the various issues related to the Ministry of Finance.
The trip was concluded with a visit to the gallery of the Brunei Currency and Monetary Board
