Thursday 1 December 2011 – Her Royal Highness Princess Hafizah Sururul Bolkiah attended the New Year Hijrah 1433 celebration for officers and staff at the Ministry of Finance. Among distinguished guests who attended the ceremony were Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Dato Seri Setia Awang Hj Abd Rahman bin Hj Ibrahim, the Minister of Finance II at the Prime Minister’s Office, Acting Permanent Secretaries, Heads of Department, Heads of Division, officers and staff of the ministry and its departments. The ceremony started with the recital of Surah Al-Fatihah by Yang Mulia, Ustaz Awang Haji Mail bin Haji Besar, a speaker from Islamic Dakwah Centre, who later on delivered a talk entitled ‘Takwa Asas Kecemerlangan Umat’. The New Year Hijrah 1433 celebration was coordinated by Supply and State Store Department.
